Time is crucial, and so comes into picture the necessity to know the exact time...

With lifestyles getting time-bound...rapidly evolving...and scheduled...punctuality becomes a metric to measure people’s personalities. We can’t let visually challenged, and old and sick people be an exception. With such an empathetic resolution, our team decided to materialize our design thinking into a physical product that would tell time to everyone and aid the helpless ones to know the time.

 We did a survey interviewing the old people from our localities regarding the issue of telling time and the problems they face with the current mechanical and digital clocks and watches. Sadly...we came to know that many of them completely rely on their family members to tell them time and schedules. As a matter of fact, their family members also shared their concern since someone always needs to be there along with the old ones to tell them the time for their medication. Quite obviously in modern times young often get annoyed when the old people keep asking them time. People suffering from cataract problems or who have recently been operated on also face this issue. Although it is generally a temporary issue for them, it becomes really difficult if they live alone...
